I wonder if filling in the voids might result in a sturdier feel?

I used liquid nails on one set and then JB Weld on another set. Both versions added some mass and good feel.

I have only seen Rust-oleum Truck Bed Coating in one color.  It looks like flat black to me.
The way the can that I have reads, it looks like "Truck Bed Coating" is the name of the color.
