I ued a 1" id pcp nipple cut off the threads and cut a 3/8 "wide  slot 2 1/2 " long down the thread less end this will slide on the end and the sight will slide nicely into the slot goes on easy and after cocking the gun slides right off  you can find the nipple at Lowes hope this helps you guys. It worked for me znd you can get the nipple in what ever length you think you`d like
