When you paint plastic you should use something like Dupli-color`s adhesion promoter it does a good job getting the plastic ready for paint and the paint lasts

Great looking 1377.
I really like the idea of painting the grips and forearm.
Gonna have give that a try.

RB grips came today. I mounted them on the pistol and they look sweet!
I'm heading to the doctor with my 8 month pregnant wife for an ultrasound and check up. I'll put the pics up later.

Very Cool!! Am looking forward to the pics.

Congrats on the new baby coming!!! Your first? At 8 months, she should just be starting to have her "nesting" emotions kicking in. Has she completly cleaned and reorganized the house yet (especially the Baby's room)  ;) ;)

KBR97

Thank you Brent, yes its our first. And yes she is constantly cleaning and moving things around lol.

Thanks!

Btw...anybody with RB grips...I was given a small pice of adhesive felt to mount somewhere to reduce "pump slap". I can't figure out where its supposed to go. There is a little piece of paper with a picture but I can't make it out at all. Anybody know?

Great looking furniture on your 1377.

I am pretty sure it goes on the inside back of the forearm where it would contact the main tube to keep it from slapping the main tube.

Carl

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

She is looking NICE!!  :-* :-*

The felt is most likely going to go under the fore stock edge closest to the trigger frame. Look to see where the fore stock might be touching the tube the most, and I am thinking it goes there. Just a guess really, I have never gotten RB grips and needed to use one. Let someone else who knows better, jump in and let you know for sure.

I actually put the soft fuzzy side of a velcro strip, there on my 1377 - for the same reason. When I put the backpacker fore stock on, it was very slightly hitting/ rubbing the tube there by the grip frame.

(edit - I see Carl beat me to it as I was writing)

I always like the way Sheridan dealt with this... I piece of rubber tubing inlet int the pump arm...

Great job KBR.......you're addicted well  ;D
The felt attaches to the forearm, want it all the way to the metal bracket......lay it on gently then work it in from the edges (not the middle)
When the edges are stuck real good then carefully seat the middle making sure it doesn't get skewed.......hth  :)
