Ok i read the post about another member making custom ID ports. I have a BNM breech set up and a 2250. I am receiving a PCP tube on Friday from DC and want to somewhat regulate the power. I contacted Sergio and he said he can make custom ID ports, but i need to give him specs to do so.

Can you help me with these measurements? I have no clue

I am wanting to hold back some power, and hopefully increase shot count.

So if you hade 3 choices what would that ID be?

thanks

ped

i'd go for a standard size one(3.5mm) then would get a 3mm one  a 2.75mm(this is the same bore as the restricted one used in canadian and uk spec 2240's) and  maybe one with a 2mm bore (you could then open it up a little bit at a time) that way you can swap them till you get what you required

I would go  with .050" .080" and .100"

Try the .050 for more shots and see if it has enough power for you. If not, work up.

Nah, unlike you guys in the States we have to use metric all the time not just for bullet calibers  ;)

Point of order---caliber has nothing to do with the "metric system"! It is defined as the diameter of a bore of a gun usually expressed in hundredths or thousandths of an inch and typically written as a decimal fraction. BTW, the Metric System of measurement has been the official system in the U.S. since 1866 :o. We're just kinda slow to catch on ???. Flex

I'm sure you're old enough to remember those days of yore (not so very long ago) when the Brits too, were "inchy foot pound and ounces dudes". I'll bet that when you see the 100 KPH speed limit sign, your mind goes "let's see, that's just a bit over 60 MPH." I'm just sayin'. Flex

Unfortunately I do remember the days, generally I use imperial and metric as I was in the crossover generation. It is just easier for me to use metric for smaller dimensions.

If I saw a 100KPH sign I wouldn't have a clue, as luck has it we are still MPH over here until Europe stick the boot in that is. Because of them in out local markets our traders can get fined for advertising goods in pounds an ounces ! So instead of 5lb of potatoes like i used to buy now I just get a pre packed bag from the supermarket, not a clue how much it weighs.
