Somehow, I doubt anyone there gives a hoot. I emailed them at cust/tech support and the reply was ... "no complaints, we follow forums, have a nice day shooting"  What the ---- is that ?

Unfortunately, you are most likely correct.   :(

We are nothing but a drop in the bucket of Crosman corporate greed. We are such a small percentage of their business model and only an insignificant blip on the customer radar.  Sigh...

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

Yup.  I'm retired and while $75 isn't gonna kill me, this is leaving a very bitter taste in my mouth. Oh well, there's def much worse things in life.

sadly true the world over i remember a friend had problems with a wetherby shotgun he contacted them about it and a week later he had the part in his hand they'd express shipped a complete breech block firing pin and rat tail  to the uk at there expense(if i remember it right it was a problem with the rat tail being too long and it wasn't cycleing properly)
i wonder if this would happen now 25yrs later ,years past made in britain(and i imagine made in america on your side of the pond)used to mean quality and reliability now i'm not so sure

Some of you may have read my Webley Rebel posts... problem with the muzzle threads, could not get replacement part (over 60 days wait) Webley USA sent me brand new gun with corrected part and did not ask for the original gun in return!  :D

I'm still on the waiting list for the part, and when it arrives, will have 2 Webley guns, .177 and .22  ;) :-*

Good example ped... I used to haunt the Weatherby store in So. Gate California (L.A.) waaay back in the day and the old man W was still alive at that time. Today, the Weatherby name resides on lot's of $300 and $400 type shotguns and rifles that compete with other Turk and Chinese stuff, a true Weatherby safari grade gun cost over $2000 in 1970, don't even know if they are still in that business?

And your point is? ???
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

Too subtle about cust service  ???  :D

Well, customer service ain't going to help this time, I cut the front sight off 5mm and drilled it out to 1/2" dia inside. That's why I'm looking for another stock front sight.

Hey duck you could try putting another muzzle brake on it and a dot sight or scope. That way you won't need the front sight at all... I know how frustrated you are with this thing, I'm on the same boat  >:(  I'm going to try the Archer QB79 brake as a last resort.

jSan22

sorry you got skewed. I would give up too.
you guys need to start watching bleach. that'll give you some ideas of what to do to the crosman higher ups  when you meet them.

mudduck48

With all of youalls encouragement, I will probabaly dig it out again, but not right now. This thing has me sooooo upset, I just do not want to mess with it right now. I have some more ideas, but it requires throwing more money at it and I do  not want to do that right now. I thank you again. I shot it 45 times the other day and I had a sore trigger finger for 2 days. I just got to let it rest.

Thank you. Do not waist your money on the Trail NP. Buy carts, buy pellet, buy your wife some flowers, not this gun, it is DUCK POOP!!!!

Well mudduck, on the plus side you probably saved a bunch of people a big headache that were on the fence about buying one. Hopefully Crosman read your posts and straighten it out somehow.

This last post was over a year ago and Crosman is still selling this piece of junk, but they stopped making a really fine gun, the 2289G backpacker. Go figure. I think that their design and marketing HQ must be in Colorado. Don't Bogart that Trail NP, pass it over to me.  ;D
