I did have a go at polishing my EB22, it was a devil to get into some of those places. I did give up in the end, though the polished ones I have seen completed look tasty.

I think the Benjamin's are fine just as they are no need to mod them. But I sure
am glad the 22XXs and 13XXs are IMO born to mod.

See if someone nearby can have a go at it with a bead blaster. Might produce a matte finish, though. I've had several frames and parts sandblasted by a local sign maker. It sure makes a great surface for final painting.
