the Barrel Band Forearm Mod...w/weaver picatinny mount

Find and order a Rossi P801 weaver/picatinny mount. It fits perfectly with the radius of the Crosman barrel bands.

Saw it to length and use the other half for another build 2240 2250, 2300, 2400 etc.

I used the first and third holes and tapped them to 8-32 so I could mount the rail thru the barrel bands. Drill custom holes as needed.

The idea is to replace the set screws on the tube side to accommodate the rail.

Most of the CO2 cap is obscured by the front band. Looks like you must have a quarter in your pocket to use the gun.

Are you using long set screws on the bottom, through the rail?  Is whatever you're using hitting the tube?

Sorry for the slow reply, my laptop crapped out on me.

I used 8-32x 3/8" flat top machine screws and trimmed washers.

The screws don't hit the main tube. I have 2 regular set screws holding the barrel bands to the main tube.

I ended up shifting it back enough to get to the gas cap with your fingers;)

I see...drilled and tapped two offset holes and used regular set screws to hold the bands to the tube. Then used the original set screw holes on the bands for the weaver mount.
