nice! thinking about getting a 2240, but crossed between it and a tf 87 in pretty good shape for 75 bucks vs 50 bucks for the 2240.

A 2240! Really! I mean BAD choice. First, they are NOT accurate at all. Second, there are virtually NO aftermarket parts available for them, I mean nothing, grips, shoulder stocks, barrels, hammer springs, high output valves, trigger upgrades, power adjusters, steel/aluminum breeches, sights......................I mean NOTHING. Third, Crosman is known for no customer service whatsoever. Good luck with that purchase. There are those that claim they have made slight adjustments But I can't see how.

Seriously, buying a 2240, great choice. Joining this forum, great choice. Only thing that limits what you can do to that gun is your mind and your pocket book.
