What options do I have? I see Crosman offers the MIM adjustable, but are there any other sights that have been used? I want something for my 1377.

I'm in the same boat.  Looking for a rear sight for the 1377, to go with a Crosman steel breech.  Any thoughts or opinions?  I find that I'm generally frustrated with iron sights anymore, and I'm finding all sorts of fault with all of them (in general I don't like the truglo sights).  Perhaps my eyes just getting older...

Here is what I have on my Crosman steelbreach. Williams WGRS-54. It comes with the peep and I changed it to open sight.

I bought the MIM sight when I bought the steel breech, but the MIM sight would not work with the 14 1/2" barrel I have.

Which sight fits the dovetail? Brownells has at least a dozen varieties!

I believe the cross cut dovetail on the Crosman breech is proprietary to the LPA MIM sight. Utilizing the regular dovetail grooves opens up some possibilities as previously mentioned.

Wasn't too hard... typed in Williams Rear in the Brownells search box, it's the ramp model as Duck said  http://www.brownells.com/search/index.htm?k=williams+rear&ksubmit=y

There's a post somewhere onthis forum on "research" I'll find that too unless you want too? :-X

I understand that, but when I click on the WGRS sight, it lists 25 different sights for different guns.

ETA- okay, I didn't catch the "54" after the WGRS that mudduck has in his post. I think I found the right one. Sorry for the confusion.

UPDATE: went ahead and ordered this sight Brownells as well as a blade insert in case I do not care for the peep. How fast is Brownell's shipping?

Mudduck, does the Williams raise higher than the MIM?  I max out the elevation on the MIM and am still hitting below my aim point.  I had to fashion a sight post for the TKO to use the MIM.

Crosman steel breech. First pic is the MIM sight with my 14 1/2" barrel. Second pic is with the Williams WGRS-54 with the open sight. I can't remember, but I think I bought the  3/16" sight. You will see that I still have enough room to raise it up more. This is with the stock front sight blade. :)

Thanks MD.  Looks like the 3/16 is higher and if not the 1/4" and higher are available.
Looks like another sale for Brownells.

Here it is with the peep sight on it. As you can see the peep is alot taller than the open sight I bought. The next pic is with the open sight, GAMO match pellets at 20 ft. sitting on my stool in the garage. If I could shoot outside, I might have left the peep on, but shooting in the garage, I need open sights. 8)
