Loving my 2300T got me thinking about a pumper.  I do have an air17, but have never had a multi stroke.  So I thought I'd like one for the winter when the 2300 won't be liking the cold.

So I've just bought a 1322, first .22 pistol I will ever have bought as well.

Mods, well there's a question....

Check out trigger, especially see how it compares to 2300.  Bit of smoothing & maybe change spring but use as it is in the summer.

But main thought was this is inexpensive and try to keep it that way but with a plan as winter alternative to co2.
I was thinking swap grip & trigger assy, breech, barrel and bolt from 2300 in cold months...but having looked at specs the barrels are different lengths  still viable but keep .22 barrel. 

So sort of summer/winter middle sections but use higher quality top & bottom sections (does this make sense?)

It'll probably all go out the window though and I'll end up spending twice as much on mods than it cost, but I do like a tinker.  But I will try to resist

Trigger mods are the best cause they can be done for free! I like free. Use a dremel tool and polish the trigger and sear. I usually use the rubber tip then cotton buffing tip. Ill use plastic washers than came with my lawn shed sanded down to fit to take all the side to side slop out. Take your time on the trigger, it will be worth it.

Tko has a good spring set that comes with stainless pins fornthe trigger and sear and the 1911 blade is pretty nice but will have to be fit to your pistol. Dremel and grinding wheel will work for that one.

The top ends should be compatable. Ive used the top 1/2 of my 2250 on my 1377 just to see what kind of numbers id get. Thats another advantage of the crosman pistols all the interchangable parts. Well congrats with the new pistol and have fun!

1st impression is how good the build quality is, tight fit screws, grip side plate solid and has a hex screw (2300T flathead and poor fit). All plastics, metal/paint perfect.

Most surprising of all is the trigger.  Yes it needs to be made lighter but there is zero side to side slope, none at all.  I'm actually stunned as I was really expecting it.  So it's just a polish of trigger and sear and maybe weaker spring but nothing else

Baz... same here with my most recent 1377 and the 2289 Backpacker, the fit and finish was good, and accuracy of the guns with stock sights was excellent. Each required a little polish and lube work as normal on the trigger parts and a lighter spring but, that was the extent of the work except for barrel cleaning, even the barrel crowns were well done. I wonder if Crosman found a new contractor to build the (roughly) past year of production on these guns as many others have also commented on this, especially with the 2289's (same gun, diff barrel).

Really impressed I have to say.

Had a quick shoot using the P17 competition target (so had one shot on it).

Shot at several and was amazed how accurate it was with no adjustment.  So on this target (pic below) I shot 5 times at same target and its all single hole (was only 4 yards) - one in 9 hole was P17 .177

Love affair with the 1322 continues, family went out for a while I took opportunity to change the grips from stock to the black Benjamin grips.  Amazed at how much more comfortable they are.

Had a little shoot with different amount if pumps, 4 pumps, 10 pumps and then a 5.  Seems 4 is fine for indoors.  All 3 in same hole and actually pellets stuck together
