Congrats on the new toy!! Sounds like you used the Super Saver shipping with Amazon as they tend to hold the product for several days before shipping even though it shows as being in stock. Think this is there way to try and encourage you to purchase a upgraded shipping option as they have done this to countless times.

Yes indeed, SuperSaver it was! And you just may be right about "encouraging" the switch to Amazon Prime. That would just cause me AND my wife to buy way more stuff than we (would ever) need. Upon delivery, Amazon does request a "satisfaction survey". Usually I just pass but this time I commented on that very issue. We'll see if anyone really reads the comments AND responds! Flex

You will be very happy with the 2240 they do shoot great stock but they get better as you turn a few screws.

I ditto that  LOVE my 2240 since I modded the trigger.

Yes, but that unfortunate situation won't be lasting too long. The modding/morphing will prolly begin this weekend as I have numerous "spare" parts, take-offs and a great hardware store nearby. Pics and reports will follow (It's required isn't it?) Flex
