That's what I was thinking Rich a piece of PVC tube that will fit over the tube snug.

With all the stainless you could really pump up the pressure I think.

Mike maybe you can get an unthreaded tube from don and it would be that much longer. I would call him and talk to him about your project and maybe he can drill it for you.Don't sacrific the 2250. ??? ??? ???

I was going to ask him that i think his pre drilled for bulk PCP 2260 barrel might be my choice.

when i had my drop tank 2300 done i went to lloyd sikes at airgunlab.com he does everything including building new valves from scratch
i was going to make my dc 2260 a crosmanless crosman meaning its going to look and function just like a crosman but not one part would be a factory crosman part
with a drop tank it makes it easier because it replaces the factory fill adapter
with a dc tube, fluted hammer, breech, end caps, bfd trigger and qb drop tank you are mostly there. all you would need is a lw or tj barrel and a lloyd sikes valve
thats what i think an ultimate build would be
closed mouths dont get fed

Pcp 2260 would work. That is going to be my next purchase from him plus a stainless breech.

Ok more parts just ordered a 2260 tube from AB only 18 beans. I think this will need a nice paint job or maybe polish her up not sure just yet any ideas out there.

Guess you could always polish it first then if ya don't like it paint it.

That's a good idea, now for the barrel just might try a .20 cal but i will have to make a bolt and size the port for the pellet in the breech. I can cut the barrel to fit the breech on my lathe making the bolt should be easy.

Think I read somewhere that for a .20 probe all you need to do is go up a size on the .177 probe. I could be wrong though.
