K.O.

Well last night while putting new seals in my 853 (back up to around 500 fps or so  :) ) (educated guess, trajectory) I figured out how I accidently improved the 2100s accuracy that last little bit...

the 853 has a choked barrel an it got me  thinking... ( Ultra Mags got stuck at choke before reseal)

the 2100 did ok with Ultra Mags but not great before and it likes them even less now...

So I pushed a pellet through and yep the riffling marks are much improved from before,

well...

when I made the nylon stabilizers

the first one I made I just drilled out to 5/16 and it took a lot of force to get it on the barrel.

I forced it on the last 3/4" and said  to my self nah way to tight and so pulled it,

reamed it and the rest till they fit just right (still tight but not excessively )

I made these stabilizers because of a bowed barrel which I straightened,  but being the barrels are soft it went back to bowed.

so that is how I accidentally  choked the last 3/4" of my barrel with a nylon bushing.
