Hey you guys. Thank you Thank you for the great info. You are the best.  I love to read information and learn.  I sometimes act putting the cart before the horse but I soon realize my hast and go back to learning first.  I saw some video talking about Co2 and some problems with it. Mostly with Paintball guns which are another animal.  Do you guys that use the Co2 have any input as to draw backs?  The guns are set up for the use of Co2 so just a larger supply system, should not be a problem.   The pressure thing with HPA kinda turns me off.  I want to be able, at any time to take out the external tank system and throw in a 12g powerlet for some applications. I think Co2 will be my first endeavore.

If you intend to be able to remove the bulk bottle, I would suggest you look hard at one of the "dummy" CO2 carts. That is most likely the best way to be able to revert back to standard carts, then back to your bulk setup. One other quick note, if, and when you decide to move to HPA, standard 13 CU.IN HPA bottles for paintball are regulated to approximately 800-850 PSI, roughly the same as CO2 at about 70 degrees. Many who start down the HPA path begin here, then slowly with experience move to higher pressure systems.  Remember ask questions, that's one reason we are all here, to help our board brothers, and sisters, and help keep everyone safe while we all have fun.

when i saw external gas bottle in the opening post i assumed co2
high pressure air i never thought of as gas even though it may be ???
now we are looking at a different ball game. the real difference is pressure and securing the valve, imo

I do know that the weather will affect the CO2 more than the HPA.Just in the last few days here in Northest Ms. the cooler temps has effected my CO2 alot. At 50yards befor the cooler weither I was hitting a pellet tin and punching all the way threw it. Now I have to aim higher and onlying making dents in them. :o

hpa is affected too but not until freezing iirc. my 3000psi scuba tank would read 2800psi in sub freezing temps so do my guns

My only good reason for living in California.  ;D. Might hit the high 20's here in the winter and that's not that often.
