Good for you.  Let us know if there is much difference in DB between the two of them.  Inquiring minds want to know. ;)

Nice ryder can't go wrong with A TKO brake. I think the longer brake would work better on the 2240 if your looking for a back yard friendly shooter but you never no.

I've used both on my 2240, both are backyard friendly, not much difference IMHO;)

I have both sizes too, while not night and day different, the longer is enough ''better'' to make it worth while. ;)

Well i put the 6.5" on the 2240 with a 12" barrel and the 5"on the 2260 both guns running BnA boss valves the 2240 is a wee bit nosier then the 2260 but i expected it to be after all the 2260 with the longer barrel uses up a lot more of the gas than the 2240 i`m happy how both sound

They are good devices for the money. I always buy the .22caliber so I don't worry about swapping between .177or .22 cal guns.

I really like this idea. When using the 22 cal TKO with a 177, does it perform as well? Interested in effects on accuracy and the intended purpose.

After sighting in the scope this is 5 shots at 10M

have the 5" TKO on the 2260

It's not a noticeable difference in sound between the two and the .22 on a .177 provides more forgiveness to any interference or possible clipping of the pellet skirt without worrying about perfect concentricity between barrel OD and bore.

A buddy of mine has a stock 2260 when we were shooting together one afternoon both of us were shooting the 2260s. After a few shots he said I think something is wrong with your gun or its running low on Co2 ;D. Then I had to tell him my secret. Honestly I had the 7 1/2" on it that day he asked if he can try it on his. I let him take it home for a few weeks this is how I found out the 5" works just as good because wile he was using the longer one I needed something on mine. Almost like a found mastake. So the 5" stayed on the 2260. THE END lol.
