CO2 tethered airgun in cold weather.

Tell me what will happen.   If one was to shoot in temps of about 50 degrees and the tethered bottle was kept in controlled temperature (warm),  would there still be a pressure drop at the gun?  Any BTDT?

The advantage of shooting from a large bottle is that the CO2 does not cool as quickly as if you were shooting a 12g cartridge. So temperature effects on the gun are less dramatic. If you carried the bottle in a controlled environment, your gun would probably shoot as expected.

I think he means having the co2 tank in a warm temp controlled box or something, and shooting the gun in regular temps...

Interesting idea...i think a couple of hand warmers wrapped around the airgun tube and valve area would help keep things consistent. Maybe the tube/hose could be wrapped with something warm also, but wouldnt it just be easier to go hpa for cold weather?

run some inside tests then some outside tests then the warm bottle cold gun test
