K.O.

Well I got a good deal on a PC77 from a GTA forum member and had just picked up a 24" .22 barrel for my 18" barreled PC77,

so instead of putting the barrel  on it I built the new addition and was getting good fps (cut and crown at 19") so then came accuracy.

As I had used all my 2289 bands I drilled out the 13xx barrel band cut  down the front sight and made a screw eye front peep.

So I set up my paper plate at 25 yards and started sending lead down range.

my first three shots were off to the right so I adjusted my rear sight a bit and my next two were half way there...

Adjusted that same amount more and switched to bottom target...

The next three yep right on.

Then it all fell apart when the band started shifting.

this barrel is much tighter than the 14.5" barrel on my 1322 but seems to be much the same accuracy wise.  I did port it to .160 and made

the leade the same as on my 1322(pellets seat very easily just past the port and smooth transition into the rifling.

the 14.5 barrel just barely shows  rifling marks on the head and light but consistent on the skirt, the new barrel well if the bands were any

wideron the head and skirt it would be to tight and I would be getting fins on my pellets.

will be ordering a barrel band soon because wow those first 8 shots sure felt sweet...
