Vigilante Gas Valve?

Finished up the trigger tune on my Vigilante. While I had it apart I was looking at the gas valve (not much to it). I was wondering if anyone has tried modding the valve on these? Except for maybe a lighter valve spring, I can't see much more you can do

Not sure..........I mod the valves on 2240/2300 platform guns to a Boss designation 5.05mm oversize.  You have a picture of this gas valve?
