Muzzle brakes

What are the benefits of a brake on 1377 if any?  I see lots of cool pictures but not sure on the brakes.

The majority of the breaks on the 1377 are cosmetic.  Unless you are talking about l.d.c's which do help on the noise problem.

A brake doesn't do a lot on lower power airguns, the basic design is for powder burners to push gas upward to reduce muzzle flip. An LDC (or noise limiter) is a useful item to knock down the noise from expelled air or co2. It will make a 2240 pistol go "click" instead of "POP".
