Out of interest, what do folks do with the side plate if they have a polished or nickel plated grip frame?

Good Question.......guess you could always use paint. I painted a trigger frame silver and it came out looking pretty good. Though it was a while back and I can't remember if it was one of the old style cast plates or the newer plastic?? Still, I think Fusion spray paint would work ok. This one is in B&W but you can get an idea of the paint job. Never should have sold that one! My first 2240 build
