To resurrect a slightly dead thread..

I know we have a group of people here with a vast base of experiences...

But how does one become versed in the color of monkey puke?

I do know the color of the stuff they throw at us while watching them at the zoo,
but it ain't yellow, and don't smell like bananas...

Oh, cool!  A Newb!  If you are just starting out in PCI (Puke Color Identification), then I recommend that you get a Sherwin Williams Master color key to hold next to the sample... find the closest color, etc.  With much practice, one day even you may be able to just call it like you see it unaided by color chart or key set.  Good luck!  OH!!!  And do remember that you can shave hours (and even days) off of your wait time with syrup of Ipecac.  It does NOT affect the color... only the speed and intensity of the re-gurge.  Have fun!

Yes, I am familiar with the horrid syrup.

Once in person, and 2 times as a prank on someone (2 times to the same person after it was done to me the first time by him.)

I am a graphic artist by trade, and have seen many different color wheels, and color charts.

I just can't recall that color name ever coming up in a Pantone or PMS color..

I have 2 CCS guns, none of them have the pretty color laser work.

When I take them down for a new blue job, it will just be basic black, no high tech monkey erp..

I'm trying to remember.  It's in a "Ralph" something-or-other collection... or maybe it's "Chuck"?  Color is called Yolk, maybe... or Yoko??? ... AHHH!

Never heard of Pantone or PMS, but Monkey Puke is a standard fishing lure color.
