PCP filling equipment info please

There is no wrong among these, just make sure it covers YOUR needs. I wanted the 4500 psi because 3 of my four are 3000 fill and the disco is 2000... and I wanted light weight grab and go portability the size of a big football sitting on the shooting bench outside with me.

If my topped off tank began with 3000 I would only get the first fill to 3000 and all down hill from there.  I gotta have the 4500 starting point.

this makes me want to bring out my daq valved stainless steel 2260.
i put it together a while ago and is still tolding air.
a scuba tank is fine for now its set up for 2k fills, with the screws it has 3 using 2400. the tank was filled almost a year and is still full because these guns hold air good

Sterling... what's your budget or cost target?

As noted by others, many use a 4500 psi set-up because it covers all needs present and future. It's the most economical for the long term and will support any of the PCPs you might venture into.

Sorta like the guys who buy a Honda 250cc motorcycle to "get into" bikes, and one year later, it's a Harley Road King ("wish'd I never bought that Honda"  )
