I recently picked up a "Backpacker Bugout kit" and I find the stock to be a little short in the length of pull.

What other options are available for a detachable stock for the 13xx pumpers?

Thanks,

Jon

If you know the LOP you want, there are two popular replacements options to the plastic Crosman stock are wire stocks and adjustable tactical stocks. Just a handful of wire stocks out there. Michael Chavka is the only one I am aware of that has them on-the-shelf. He may be able to custom make one to a length that would work for you.

The other option is to purchase a stock adapter from several sources that fits in the end of the compression tube and provides a mount for various tactical-type paintball stocks like the one pictured below.

BFC's talking about the Tippmann 98 stocks. Several adapters out there, including the new RIA.

I got a Chavka stock and found it a little short for me and the scope I'm using.
I got a piece of 1/2" aluminum to extend the stock and a piece of 3/4" alum. stock to drill a 1/2" hole through.  (I almost got the hole centered. :-[)  Drilled & taped for #8 set screws and the stock can be any length you want.

The stock is on a polished Backpaker.  I think it is going to be my "Throw Down" gun.  Will get some pics up tomorrow.

I'm currently working on a stock made from pvc piping that incorporates a 13ci bottle. I will post pics when complete.

Go here to order a wire stock from M. Chavka - http://chavka.com/index.html

As an example, this is a build I did using a Chavka stock. The bit of foam is from a blowgun parts supplier on Ebay.

Those are all awesome solutions for new stocks and I hope anyone who has made custom ones will post pics in this thread as soon as they can!
