I finally stepped up another level (or 2 or 3 or 5).  Now, bring on the tuning.

Good Man,a chrono is a airgunners best friend, its not going to buy you a beer on a Saturday night, but sure will tell you how fast that lump of lead is going :)
Crosmans, start as a hobby, then an obsession...

Some times you will be surprised at what your gun shoots i know i was when i ran my 116 over my F1 it was shooting at 440 fps not bad for a 60 year old gun i like shooting as much as my 2240`s and bulk fill is great

Awesome Joe!!!  I felt left out when I didn't have a chrony, now that I do have one I don't use it as often as I should.

Nuts about airguns and just nuts in general...but I'm medicated.

I have mine sitting on my tv in my bedroom. Yes, the gf is pissed about that. But all I have to do is let some light in the window and I can use it. I typically don't target shoot using the chrony. It's just for measuring velocity, so the backstop is right against the back side of it.

Thanks everyone, you guys all have issues---me too, and Bob you'll be happy.  I did have to buy my own beers, oh well.

Yes Joe, we ALL have issues!!  I haven't seen any rehab center for Crosman modders yet, like I would check myself into a place like that...I like the addiction of modding!!  Luckily there is a support group for guys like us, it's called CAPOF!!!

I doubt that I am the only one this has happened to, but the time WILL come that on the shot you will hear a loud "smack" followed by the whistle of a ricocheted pellet...just make sure it isn't the screen or a sensor! :D :D

I used to do my chrony tests in the bedroom, the backstop was a box with an old pillow in it with 1/2" ply behind that.  My wife made me get rid of it, I didn't argue much, it was a pain setting up and taking down the light system I had.
