Posted earlier on GTA:

I haven't been shooting much lately, kind of board punching paper indoors so I made a couple cheap spinners.
In my wooden target box, I drilled a hole in either side and cut a coat hanger to slide through. I bent up two cheap spoons and cut one with tin snips to make it a little smaller. I also drilled a hole through the top of a plastic dinosaur and hung it from a loop of coat hanger. Basically, a free project.
The pics are without the duct seal in back.

Here I added cut piece of a straw as spacers. In the second pic I put a piece white paper behind it to make it easier to see.

Nothing special but maybe it will motivate someone else to make something similar. I'm sure I'll improve on it eventually too.

This old timer likes them! We tried them today and they work great. The key was having the spoons facing concave side in, otherwise a few pellets popped out. Shooting them with the P17 or three pumps with the 1377 really sent them flying. No loud "ting" though, they are cheap dollar store spoons we had stored as spares. Cheap metal.

Nice setup. Next time you hit a nice restaurant snag some good silverware so you cannget that good "ting"!.   :-*

Hey Tater,

You should try these for spinners, heavy duty.

This is actual size.

I'm in pest control and I have a ton of these.  They are for opening rodent bait stations.  Let me know and I can send you a few.  Anyone else wanna try them?

Hey thanks Joe. I'd love a couple of those, they look like a good size and solid. PM on the way.

Thanks. And thank you Joe for sending me the bait openers. They are gonna be perfect spinners hanging from a split ring.  :-*
