air stripper

Sweet! I asked because I have made stripper that looked similar to that one. I made them for someone on the forum, but never did have time to experiment. :-( Sounds interesting and now I have more time.

So, moving the inner stripper tube forward or back adjusts the air strip, correct? Question number two is, how do you know where the optimal setting is?

Pretty much a shoot, adjust, record results type of tune to find the sweet spot for each gun?

Yup. Trial and error.

I suggest starting at one bore diameter and moving out in small increments. Will usually find a couple spots where groups shrink, but one will be better than the rest. Some settings will also open the groups up...fun stuff. ;)

Baseline test of stripper/compensator @ 10m. Pistol held in vice but aimed for each shot...a rather improvised machine rest. ;)









Barrel tuners are another subject of interest...muzzle and mid mount varieties... 8)
