The steel breeches are all the same, only the bolt is different. You can use the breech for .22, just get a .22 bolt.  :)
Stranded in California.

It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.

Don't forget your .177 barrel  :-*

TennX

Ok , I guess im gonna make the 2240 a 177, I want to keep it a manageable pistol, what length barrel would u recommend.....

You said at the start of this thread, that you had an extra .177 barrel. How long is it? Me, I would use the 10.5 barrel, just for the fun of it.

No sir , I have an extra 177 steel breech...but was thinking 10.1  along with longer probe.. thanks

Thank you, I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. Steel breech, not barrel. Anyway, I think the 10.5 in. barrel would be a good one.

I cannot recommend the .177 Lothar Walther 10.1" barrel enough. The one I got is super accurate. It turned my pig of a 2240 into a race horse.

Would I need to find this on a crosman EVP...thanks

Crosman part: 2300-002 (.177, 10.1 LW match barrel) - $58.71 ea

Drop Davio a PM and ask him if he has one in stock. I got mine from him and he gives forum members a discount. He's a great guy to deal with.

I got my parts from him to do my 1377 to 1740 conversion.  Great to deal with.  Absolutely no complaints.

Well I found a deal on a used 2240 ($30) , when it gets here I will make it a 1740 and leave my original 2240 "22"....couldn't get the LW barrel , but did purchase and receive a new 10.1($15) from a 2300...also purchased a 22  probe, just to have on hand....thanks for the replies
