That stubby has a unique appeal... to me anyway  :-* Did you spring tune for the shorter barrel? thanks

Sping and hammer.  Lightened the hammer and then used a spring from the 2300S that's blue colored and lighter than an OEM 2240 spring.

Very nice. Not surprising you had that covered  :-* I have to admit I haven't done much with faster, lighter hammers. Not as easy to do as spring changing but I'm sure the efficiency benefit is there - thanks

The other thing about the lighter hammers is that when they strike there is less jarring of the gun at impact since there is less mass.  On my 2240 Lite, with the Delrin hammer, it is something you notice immediately.

What kind of prices to Stubbies bring ????

BillK

Less than the asking price & more than the first offer.  Amounts to twice as much as half. :D ???
Dave on Alchemy has one for $300+
Probably would sell for about 1/2 of the money you have into it.  Just a guess......

Sorry. Late to this thread.

I just want to add that I use the Mr. Seltzer 8 gram carts on my builds. I do spin the valve up on the lathe and take the brass curled edge off the face edge just so the cart touches nothing but orange face gasket / seal.

Fun little guns for sure. And great conversation piece. Anybody that sees one seems to lust for it.

Just refinished the grips on my SC Stubby.  Also working on an aluminum main tube for the stubby to reduce the weight just a little.  And no I have not weighed it but I will this weekend.

Too cool!
