I have an older phase 1 1377 with the slide breech cover. I like the looks of the newer bolt and handle style and would like to convert my gun to this newer style. I do not want to spend a lot of money since it is an older gun. What would be my cheapest options?

Leave it as is and get a refurb instead :-*

I agree with Brutuz.  Leave the classic one as is just reseal if needed and get a new one to mess with. Not a bunch of the phase 1 guns around unmolested.

I have one and love the old school look it has

Cheapest option is to get a standard new breech and bolt from Crosman as well as a new barrel, stick all the original parts aside and save for later if you want to put it back to stock...

Send the old one to me and I'll send you a brand new 1377.  :)

Change the transfer port to the new style also. Classic 1377s don't have the kind of value as say a 600
Do as you will.

I have an old phase 1 also. Love that gun. Slapped a crosman breech on it then added a mountain air barrel, flat top piston and valve, long probe bolt and crosman shoulder stock. Add a dot sight and it is a pesting machine that the kids also love to shoot.

Have fun!
