Just got everything done to my new carbine.  Started life as a parts gun 1740.  I added a 20" disco bbl and used open sights for awhile, which was tons of fun.  The HPA bug has bitten hard though, and I bought a disco tube and valve off of BillK, an adjustable hammer from Davio, traded a 2400kt for parts from Arkmaker and ordered a host of parts from Crosman.  Threw on a Hawke 2-7x32 AO and as it turns out, she's a heck of a shooter!! Loves JSB Exact Diabolo 8.44 gr.  Bstaley tune and on the second try got the shot string I was looking for.  2k psi fill, 1100 psi end, 24 shots, 30 ES, average velocity 910, high 923, low 893.  Average 15 ft/lb energy.  Absolutely brilliant little gun! Thanks to all the above for the parts, and Gippeto and others for my HPA questions.
Full blown Crosmaniac.

That group above was 25 yards, 5 shots in the main group, and one flyer.  Pretty sure I was responsible for the flyer, as the gun groups phenominally.
Full blown Crosmaniac.

Looks like you put all your parts to good use.  That's a sweet shooting & looking gun.  "Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?"(A-Team)  Contrats!

Nice job. :-*

Making good power...have you tried the 10.3JSB's? Don't have a lot of .177 stuff, but what I do have generally prefers the 10.3gr in a 4.52mm head size.

H&N Barracudas usually work well at this power level too, and if your barrel likes them...Polymag Predators are DEVASTATING at this speed. 8)

Have to agree on JSB 10.3.  Plus they are much easier to handle.  7 & 8 gr pellets are "tiddley" and a fumble fingers, like I am, has problems with them.

Excellent Build!
Might try out the AA Diabolo's as well. I've become a big fan of them lately. JSB clones as best I can tell??

Workinng on getting a P-rod forend on it today.  Also re-pinning the valve with 3 10-32 screws.  Going to experiment with 2500 psi fills and my string.  I think I may be able to get 30+ shots out of it around 920 fps.
Full blown Crosmaniac.
