Early Christmas present

Yesterday, I picked up an early Christmas present to myself: a CR357 .177 cal. revolver.  Even though I own several air pistols that were designed to be airguns from the start (2300T, 1377, 2240) this is the first one I bought that's a real firearm imitation.  I really like the look and feel of the gun, as well as the usual Crosman moderate price.  I brought in a CO2 cartridge from the garage to warm up, installed it inside the grip, loaded some pellets into the clip and gave it a try.  I really like the look and feel of the pistol and it seems to shoot well.  It was too cold to spend any time sighting it in; I'll have to wait for a warmer day.

This is the first Crosman pistol that I'm not eager to modify.  IMHO it's fine the way it is out of the box.

Congrats! They do look pretty good. May end up going there myself, but 1st need to do that .22 mod to mine like I said I'd do 2 years ago

This is the first Crosman pistol that I'm not eager to modify.  IMHO it's fine the way it is out of the box. 

I agree.  The Crosman 357 type pistols are just a fun gun to shoot.  A little lube will help the trigger but so does a lot of shots.

Crosman recommends oiling the piercing lever, trigger, and hinge screw every 250 shots.  Of course, a drop of pellgun oil on every CO2 cylinder is standard practice.
