Im sure this has been already discussed somewhere in here but here goes. I have a 2300kt and a 2240 i installed a power adjuster in the 2300 and after running the 12 gram down to a lower pressure the valve and cartrige became stuck requiring complete disasembly to get the pin out of the cartrige. On the 2240 i installed just a heavier hammer spring and got the same results with the cartrige and valve sticking together. I understand whats happening but is there something i can do about it? I have a powerlett eliminator and i dont have any issues shooting with it. Do i need to stay away from the 12grams with the heavier hammer springs in my guns? Please advise.

First I'd try firing the gun with the end cap off.  That sometimes dislodges the cartridge.
Use pell gun oil or Secret Sauce on the cart tips.  Don't let the cart run completely out of gas.  Don't dry fire unless the end cap is off.  Polish the piercing projectile  to be sure its smooth.
The extra spring power is pushing the piercing point on the valve further in the cart but, that should not result in stuck carts.   The smoothing & lubing should do it.
Please let us know if this helps.

Oh, be sure your not over tightening the end cap.  Just hand tight is usually enough.  Tim M. says tighten it about as much as a girl would. ;)

also, I've had luck getting them dislodged by having the tube cap off and tapping the whole gun downward with gravity (against something wood as to not hurt the tube) from a couple inches away, after a handful of taps this usually works... I have that problem with my 1077 and have had to use it on my 2240 and 1740 as well...

I gotta agree, don't over tighten and don't try to get more shots when it's almost empty.
