Been doing some 10 meter off hand practice with "ROWDY", my custom 2300. Using some Crosman .22 cal. ammo, think the are around 13 grains. They shoot pretty good and are not too costly.
While digging around in my stash of pellets I found a tin of .22 JSB Monster 25.4 grain, and wondered if they would even fit into the breech. It takes a little finesse but they will load and very surprising how well they group out of a CO2 Pistol. The first five I shot produced a 1 1/4 inch group ctc off hand.
The bury up pretty deed in the duct seal also. I will not use then often because of the cost but it was really fun using ammo like that in a pistol.

How long are they?  I ask because I'm wondering if they'll fit with the extended bolt probe, without getting the skirt damaged on the way in.

They measure .345". I load them skirt first by angling the skirt in and on to the probe and the front will then drop in. My probe is a Charles Melon extended probe.

Thanks.  It looks like I have over .400", so they'll fit fine.
