I went a little ebay crazy and +4ed my collection

Crosmam 454 that needs a rebuild (and a rebuild kit)
Regular 2440
Crosman PSM45

I went on a limb with a Custom 2440 for $279 my cost. Older 2440 and I'm hoping I didn't overspend. Was this anyone here? -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/CROSMAN-2240-CO2-22-CAL-SINGLE-SHOT-PISTOL-WITH-SCOPE-CUSTOM-/224335021359

What is the scope, I don't think it is a Red Dot.

Got some more detail:

"...he gentlemen that put this together did every mod imaginable, custom trigger and assembly power adjuster, TKO carbon fiber wrapped [CENSORED] (very quiet) , I can't recall the grip and forearm mfg. When I looked it up a year ago they were made in Europe and had a price over $100. I also recall the barrel being upgraded to a Lothar Walther and it has the steel barrel band. When shooting from a bench @ 10 meters, (silly but fun), ten shots looked like 2-3 with coffee, 1 without...."

The parts are worth more than the whole.  So I think it sounds like you got a good deal.

I'll be honest; it looks very crude.

I would not pay $50 for it.

I think you already have seen my builds and I do have a very discerning eye, sir.

But if you already have it and are happy with its performance, then enjoy it.

I don't mean to offend, but it is just that I really don't want my fellow members to spend cash on what is not congruent to an item's value.

It is non of my business but I do hope you get a good bargain.

Ouch.

I'm pretty new around here, so I had to do some searching to see some reference photos and you have some a.ma.zing drool-worthy (and I'm sure impeccably performing) specimens that are probably not only well above my budget, but also not my style. I'd say my priorities are 1) Value 2) Function 3) Form. .... Basically, if my used 2008 Subaru Forester of a pistol can do 85% of what your brand new Maserati MC20 of a pistol can do, that's a win in my book. In this case I think I'm looking at 5.5 steps down the road to accuracy and customization for the cost of 3. ... There are certainly things I would have done differently. i.e. The grips and fore look to be https://www.hirdhawks.com/ and yes, all black would have been low on my list of choices, but they're good quality and birch and I'm sure re-finishable. Plus, I'll be able to use it in my basement.
