I have a P-Rod coming in later this week. What would be a descent size scope for it? I dont care on brands just the power and size. Thanks

Depends on how you are going to be shooting it.  If you are going to be using the standard pistol hold with a pistol scope (long eye relief) most folk I know tend to shoot in the 2-6 power range.  If you are going to be shooting a "taco hold" with a rifle scope most folk seem to like 4-12 power.  12 power being the maximum for pistol field target matches which they also shoot.

I shoot a p-Rod with a compact Hawke 4-24 using the "taco hold" at 24 power for silhouette matches.  I started with a 3-9 and eventually worked my way up to 24.

I would definitely look for a compact scope rather than a full size scope.

You did not specify if it will be configured as a carbine or pistol.

If as carbine:

UTG BugBuster 3x12 with side focus and dovetail rings:

https://www.amazon.com/UTG-Bugbuster-3-12x32x-Mil-Dot-Rings/dp/B07HRM5T1G/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2EA8MMOBF20OL&dchild=1&keywords=bugbuster+3-12x32+scope&qid=1616507084&sprefix=bugbuster+%2Caps%2C195&sr=8-2

I have a few of this scope.

Note though, this is currently high priced again, and is the only BB with dovetail rings.   The same scope with the QC rings is $30 less.   I don't do adapters, and the included 1399 stock is already too low.

I might be selling a JSAR AR adapter for the PROD/17xx.

They are no longer manufactured.

Works on 22xx tubes too  because I had it drilled and tapped to fit the aforesaid as well  :-*

I have a 3x12 Hawke Varmint on my 1720T.
As a carbine and pistol for HFT Pistol class off of the sticks...

Sorry about not stating what configuration I am going to use it in. I am going to use it as a carbine and plan on getting the AR folding adapter set up later down the road.

CraigH I was looking at that scope before I asked for opinions. I have a UTG on my 1322 but can not remember which one it is off hand. I will have to dig it out to find out. Thanks

I also have a number of 3-9x32 BB's with objective parallax focus.   I originally went with the front parallax because of articles suggesting that, in general, the front parallax to be more rugged that the side parallax design.

Now having 3 side focus BB's and a side focus Athon, it would be difficult returning to the objective focus.

Having said that, for fixed distance target work, the front focus would be completely fine.

PyrmidAir also has them & I use them on all Prods & 1720s.  I'm really sold on this scope W/side wheel.

3X9 Bug Buster here also.
Use the P-Rod mostly for target and pesting  around the house.
Have tried other scopes, the BB works best for me.

Looks like a Bug Buster it is! Thanks guys! My P-Rod is supposed to be here today(Friday). My Donny FL Tanto is already in town. It will be in my possession today.

My P-Rod and Donny FL Tanto arrived. It has been installed and she is a lot quieter! I learned one thing about my Chinese pump though. I realized that the handle was loose and causing me to lose air that could have been going in to the gun. After tightening it it filled a lot faster! Thanks again guys!

IMHO going with the 3-12 and a sidewheel is well worth the difference between the 3-9.

While, I wait to get my savings account back up I moved my UTG 3-12X32 Mini Swat scope from my 1322 to the P-Rod. I might keep this one on this and get a red dot sight for the 1322. Instead of starting a new thread I have two question for you P-Rod guys. Which BiPod do you all recommend? I would like to stay with UTG if possible. Also how do you mount one to the P-Rod? If you have pics with a BiPod i would appreciate it!
