There are various spring modifications and lighter strikers that hobbyists have used in the past for hammer bouncing.  Are there any contemporary "drop in" products sold for Crosmans that resolve this problem?  Thank you.

I know of no one making SSG's or other devices for sale.

But an SSG is relatively easy to make.   (You may have seen the very long GTA forum topic on the SSG device)   Here is my first effort in an earlier CAPOF topic:

Another way to very easily reduce hammer bounce is with an SSS (Short Stiff Spring) trimmed to get zero preload on the valve stem.   This method has the disadvantage of heavier cocking effort.   And do not attempt to cock with the knob of the bolt handle - use two fingers up against the barrel to avoid breaking the handle.
