Is the duct seal sticky enough to stay in place? Does gravity cause it to slide down with time? Thanks.

i have 9 pounds in a wooden box /had it about a year and as of recently i haven't picked out the pellets and between the weight of the duct seal combined with the mass of pellets i don't think it going anywhere soon   the stuff is like clay but it never hardens

Just like eric stated, it is similar to clay being fairly pliable, but it never hardens.  I brought four of my traps from Floriduh where they existed for 10 years and the Duct Seal never sagged or never got hard in that harsh Floriduh environment.
