How do the brakes connect to the barrels?  And do longer brakes such as the TKO brakes increase FPS like a longer barrel?

The barrel is 7/16" and the breaks or shrouds or air strippers or LDCs are bored to that dimension and then secured with either one or two set-screws.

Longer does you no good as far as adding any FPS.

But longer does mean more effective at "collecting lead dust" ;)

For a CO2 gun longer is the key but for PCP gun more volume is where it's at.

if you talking barrels on the 1322 1377 2289 2240 01322 they are all 11MM not 7/16 7/16 is to sloppy

longer brakes DO NOT Increase FPS at all for the guy that asked that question

Thanks for the replies, I was just wondering.  I read longer muzzle = more FPS.  Yet I suppose a LDC does not act exactly like the muzzle.

OK, but when you have a fixed diameter, length adds volume.
Sure, you could increase volume by  increasing diameter, 1.5 inches vs 7/8.
But what if you dont have a riser breech? Then longer = more volume
