Brass ordered - 22XX tube caps UPDATE Brass arived new tube cap pic.

The brass came last night,i had some time to spin one cap hope you like it.

I know you like this style winged gas cap as well as I do and probably many others so you might give a design like this some thought.

It would definitely look good in brass on a 2240.

i second that brass would be awesome and we (the USA) need to support other countries besides NZ --- i would/will be your first customer if you do "winged gas caps" --- just do it !!!

I haven't got one of them but is it made out of two parts. One part with the wings that bolts to the other?

might be kinda difficult with just a lathe but given enough time a file could do it ,even a dremel . i'm sure whatever you do will come out great
