OK so what is it that I need to do to the trigger on my new 2240. I would like to do the work myself..Just need guildence..I`m a dummy O I mean a Nubie !!!!

Ok just polish all friction points shim the trigger and sear get a lighter spring from mellon or one of the other guys on our link page. ! That should do it.

How do you shim the trigger and shear...sorry.

Shims are just a way to pack out the gaps so for example i use 0.5mm steel washers of about 5mm diameter. one on each side of the trigger will do and i use only one on the sear(bit that engages the hammer and trigger).
I tried too but its a little tight at that.
The GMAC trigger is 3mm thick for both sear and trigger and the stock oem ones are... well a little off that so you have to pack it out.
