if you would like an easy step by step on "how to control flash" just pm me. i am happy to help.
we can get you to open a page and :
-ignore all flash
-play flash one time, then freeze
- play normally
- the list goes on.

takes about 8 seconds to control each doman (or entire site) and then you can forget about it, or click and change it on the fly (say if you want to watch any particular flash temporarily)

my browsing is very minimal, i usually block all flash on most pages, but others i allow to play once. and only sites that have their ads controlled are given full ability.

this will also make your pc seem to run faster, and curb drive-by sites and increase security.   I haven't run a standard browser since 2001.

Is this some procedure you can post or is it a script of some kind you run or what?

it all depends on the target os
say he  (or you, or anyone) is running winXP, vs. win7 ...
than add their browser version ie6, 7, 8, 9, etc...

i will need to know what system is running to setup a clear walkthrough with screenshots (i can make any system under the sun in a virtual environment within an hour or so, and then resolve their (or your) issues in a somewhat elegant manner that people can understand.

i stay away from registry changes, and in some (severe) cases, uninstall the flash drivers (or adobe, but again, in those cases it is a strict machine).

laptopdragon

and actually they're GIF's that are looping.

laptopdragon

so, maybe in english...
re-open this page, let it finish loading, till you see the "done" and simply press the ESC button on your keyboard...will stop looping animations.

awe...the army general with cigar and the wwI helmet and .45 thompson was awesome

brings me back to when i knew people from the big ones, and they all smoked cigars when shooting.

that was a cool avatar.
