UTG makes an excellent, all steel, 11m to Weaver/Picatinny mount for less than $10.  It's what I use on a couple of my pistols. RC

I've recently tried these too...

Jury is still out on them.  I tried a pair with a reflex sight on the standard Crosman steel breech.  The base of the sight is a lot wider than the breech and it seems like its not riding perfectly flat.  I'm about to try them with a red dot tube sight...hoping it works out better.  They do clamp down tight though.

One of them was the answer to the scope/red dot moving backwards with every shot on my Browning springer pistol.  I've had no problems using them, and like you said, they do clamp tightly to the dovetails RC
