ive been looking around for one lately to complete my gun. i like this: http://qbmags.com/index.html
i wrote them an email asking if the spacer and rotating magazine were compatible with eachother but havent got a response.

what ever happened to cobra airguns repeater breech? theyve got spacers and shrouds to fit but no repeater mechanism

im in the market for a repeating riser breech to fit my shroud from AC. it's a 7/8 od shroud, i did a quick measurement and it looks like i'll need to raise the breech 3/16 for it to fit.

Hang loose just a little bit as I may have a Cobra repeating breech to sell here shortly.

Serpents Den

Cobra air still sells them, but they've been out of stock for a while...  i recall a thread not long ago stating that they were having legal problems? with someone else copying it or for something like it?

It has been six months since I received my last eMail from Joe.  At that time he had some personal problems and was getting tired of dealing with some folks in the airgun community.  People who were 'DEMANDING' more from him than he wanted to commit to.  So I guess it finally got to him and he dropped out.  "Another one bites the dust."  He was a good guy in all my dealings with him.

That was the old Cobra when they were trying to gather customers.  The new Cobra doesn't need customers because they have too many and no products for them.

Yep, that is the guy Cobra has the lawsuit against.  It is a 'he said - she said' thing right now and it is also getting quite ugly from the folks I've talked with.

Yes, they use the Marauder rifle magazine so it holds 10 pellets.

The airgun community is interesting in that it kills off many of the vendors that it depends on.  So for a vendor the choice is get big (like PA, AoA, or similar) or have something that is so specialised that you don't need customers (Quackenbush, Barnes, etc.) and that's the only way to survive.

NorthStaR

They could all survive if they used communication properly. Those that do; survive.

If someone has too much business then they haven't managed themselves quite so good as the products they have marketed.

People just want assurance they will receive their purchase. Without assurance people panic and the maker gets a headache
from what is deemed as hassle. The backlog of hassle emails builds up and the maker folds as an easy way out.

Theres nothing worse than having too much work and not being able to give it all your full attention.
So I guess a low management skill is also a factor. Managing time, yourself and your customers.

The catch for some is it is a moonlight business and they have fulltime day jobs too.
Again comms would sort this and managing a realistic run of orders to boot.

If I was told there was a wait or that until X date no more orders will be processed until they clear a run then I would
happily wait till they are ready to go ahead. When people start ignoring emails and in turn shunning their customer base
it becomes a downwards spiral and the inevitable happens. They stop.

(I am not accounting for personal issues, purely business procedures. If some stop for personal issues then thats another aspect.
If it is a financial folding then they shouldn't take on new orders and refund the outstanding ones. I know theres other reasons
why some disappear but you get the jist of my view?! I cannot list everything but I can reiterate what has been posted from
previous posts and the issues stated.)

All IMHO as always and I am not applying any of these factors to anyone in particular!  ;)

BTW and on-topic:
The JRA Quickshot Repeater breech is sweet. It takes the marauder clips and is plug'n'play.
Works on both the QBXX and 22XX range of guns. I have one and I like it.

Good luck!  :)
