Well, I just got "Mr. Green" sighted in and tried out a few shots with some other pellets.

All shooting was done upstairs in the cat's lair using the TV stand for a "bench" with MTM Pistol rest on the elevation box and my bean bag to rest my hands.  No elbow support, so groups weren't the greatest. Decided to sight it in with RWS Meisterkuglen Wadcutters.  Since I had bought the Industry Brand Rear sight to use on this gun, I'm  on a learning curve with it.  Ultra primitive compared to the Williams precision unit mounted on the 1740 Target pistol.  I've noted that it does sit a bit cockeyed on the gun.  When I took pictures of the two other sights, I noticed another does as well, only one of the three seems to sit "flat".  Maybe I need to try mounting that one.

A word on these Chinese sights I got from Archer Airguns.  They came with a rather small rear square notch.  The piece is plastic, so it was easily attacked by my imagination and tools!  I took a small needle file to them and widened the notch up so that I could more readily see the front sight!  Great improvement in that area for my eyes!
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.

Two more pictures of the work I did.  Amazed I didn't screw it, I must say. LOL

If you're like me that pump handle sure does make a big difference in pumping the 1377.  And I presume that's hw the nickname came about.

Oh yea, good point...  I didn't even notice the green trigger shoe.  Had my computer running in B&W mode yesterday when we were on the road traveling  to visit my mom.

Cleaning up those ratty looking sights certainly seems worth the effort - nicely done. RC
