I need some advice please.

The C41 will leak for a bit after I insert a Co2 canister.  I have tried both Crosman and Daisy with no avail.  I use Pellgunoil.  I tighten the screw to a resonable amount and do not over tighten.  I notice after a I have gone through a magazine the hissing will stop.

Any solutions?

has it leaked since new or is it a problem that has just started?
check the condition of the seal because over tightening can ruin them.

Thank you for the reply cheewee,

The gun is new, only about 6 mags through it.  It does stop hissing and what I mean by hissing it is a very small hiss after fired for a bit.

Does it take a bit of time for these seals to 'seat' ?

i am not very familiar with the c41 but no the seal should work without any seating in period.
my guess would be that the seal is damaged or you are not tightening it enough.
maybe some of our more knowledgable peeps can chime in.

Are you useing pelgun oil on the tip of the Co2 and make sure the Co2 screw is tight sometimes the seal needs to brake in. What i mean by that is it might need to take the shape of the tip of the Co2 my C11 did the same thing but if fine now.

I have a C41 and have had no problems with leaks.  If yours leaked from the git go, you might want to contact CMan customer service. RC
