getting a 2400kt CCS up to 550-600 FPS ?

if i want to get a custom shop 2400kt in .22 with a 24 inch barrel up to about 600 fps with 14.3 grain pellets .... and i'm on a budget and willing to do the mods myself ........ what are your recommendations ? any video links to doing the mod will be greatly appreciated also .

On my 24" barreled 2400KT I was getting about 570 FPS using Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum pellets weighing 14.30 grains.  So I am thinking that if you change out the hammer spring to the Discovery hammer spring you will probably hit that 600 FPS number with ease.

The part number for the spring is 1761-009.

if it will do 570 as is from the CCS with the 24 inch barrel that will be just fine . i thought it would only do about 450-480 . i wanted something close to 600fps for more humane rabbit or squirrel hunting at 25 - 30 yards ..... if i wanted to try it down the road and if i can shoot quarter size (or smaller) groups at those ranges .

I bought 3 2400KT guns. 14" barrel, 18" barrel, and a 24" barrel.  Here is the data I gathered using Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum pellets weighing 14.30 grains.
