Why does this feel like admission to some club or secret society?

I done got my 1399 stock today.  Put it on the 1377 and had to try it out.  The stock does make me hold it a bit differant when pumping.  Yep!  Zapped my left thumb pad in the pump handle!   :-X

I used to smirk when I read things like "no more pinched fingers" on things like those descriptions of 760 handles touted as 1377 custom grips.

I've been combing the archives since I signed up, so as to not start yet another "what should I do next thread."

One blood-blister later, I now what my next mod is going to be.  I'm getting a 2289 (or a 1399, whichever I can get my hands on) pump handle!  I was debating over a few other things, but this bumped those.  Funny how priorities change.  :)

Yep, that is a malady we have all experienced.  The one thing it really does is make you smart about doing mods.  :)

There are two ways to cope with it:

A) replace the fore arm with something bigger, accepting that it will no longer look like a pistol

B) be more careful of finger placement in the future

I like the slim pistol look and balance, so I'm just very careful of finger placement.
