Hi folks,
Hoping to get a little info on a long steel breech.
Would fitting one extend the barrel length enough to fit a muzzle brake.
or would i still have to get a longer barrel, 12 or 14 inch?

No, it does not extend the barrel at all. It you are talking about a 1377, then you will need a longer barrel for a muzzle brake or to slot/groove the muzzle brake and remove the top of the site plug. On a 2240, you should be able to fit one on without a new barrel.

Thanks for the quick reply.
It is a 1377, so i may just get a new barrel along with the new breech.
Cheers
