Well I got bit what can I say:)   The issue is I have 3 projects already and I am technically not finished waiting on parts or inspiration:)   This is how I roll.  I will finish them just need to keep moving.

That brings me to my new project.   I am thinking of buying a 2240.  Any other suggestions?   Then converting it to a repeater with a bulk fill (CO2 or 1600psi HPA).  I already have tanks and line from my Drozd Blackbird.  Anyway I have a few questions more to follow once I get started:)

1. Can I make a 2240 look like a 1377?   Meaning longer tube(Faux Extension) with a fore grip.   I want it to look as close to a 1377 as possible.
2.  I know Roy makes custom .25 barrels but is there a crosman factory barrel in any size that will work?
3.  Will a .25 barrel fit a steel breech?  I assume they are all the same just change bolt and barrel?

Thanks guys!

After a bit of looking I would maybe buy a 2260?    Whats everyone's thoughts?   If you are going to shoot a 18" plus barrel does it make sense to convert a 2240?   One other thing will after market breeches fit it the same as a 2240?   From what I can tell all parts interchange only difference is the stock and lower metal frame?  Meaning I could use a 2260 tube on my 2240?   The only draw back I see with a 2260 is I can not buy a new one:(   How do they sell for?

Yeah, I was getting ready to say I was looking for a 2260 the other day and couldn't find them anywhere. Did Crosman stop making them? I don't always pay attention to stuff like this.

I want the whole gun though:)  How did the sell 2260sell for?  Under $100?

Well I bought a 2240 yesterday from amazon!   Now I need to decide on some stuff.   I want to bulk it with remote CO2 maybe HPA eventually.  My goal is to make a powerful moderately accurate .25 cal gun.   I see there is a .25 build going on right now with someone else.   So I will watch that. Below is what I think.

I am thinking a
Boss Valve
14-16" Barrel
.25 Cal Conversion
BNM Repeater Breech
Maybe a longer Gas tube for looks
Trigger Job
Power Adjuster (really necessary)
Hammer Spring?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

That sounds interesting.  Do you know anyone who makes a remote feed kit for CO2/HPA and still allows you to use powerlets when you want?

GMAC has what you are looking for. Crosshairs (Mike) did it on one of his pistols. Look around the GMAC site under the custom parts for the 22xx platform and you should find it. or Mike will be along soon enough.......

Screw in to attach a bulk fill (+hose) and take out to go back to 12g capsules.

Thats what I want.  I wish they came in stainless.   From the pice they look adjustable?   You could put a slightly longer tube on and they could easily be made to work?

Do you you find the remote air a pain to handle?

One other question anyone running HPA at 1600psi?   I have another gun with that setup would be nice to share the air:)

The  flex hose is easer to handle then a SS hose for sure.
