As you know by now I'm a big fan of Crosman airguns. No really?! Well why else would I be on here 25/8!  :D ;D ;D

I know a few people who are into airguns but they have never contracted a severe case of Crosmanitis! Not even a rash...  ;)

They often talk down about them and say what's the point spending money on them when you can buy what they
call "a real airgun" like an Daystate et cetera off the shelf. Bear in mind they also shoot things like Barrett 50cals!

Fair enough, everyone has an opinion but I personally think they are talking out of lack of knowledge and from
where the sun don't shine. Sure they can buy a ready-to-go Daystate and these high end rifles have their place
but I think they overlook these budget guns basically because they are deemed as cheap mass produced kids toys.

I also think it's a case of branding - they must be seen with the latest and greatest and preferably most expensive models.  ???

Each to their own and I'm not a preacher trying to convert anyone - free will or broke! Anyway...

I found this video on YouTube that should persuade anyone to reconsider and try one of these classic pistols.

I've heard the term "Tack-Driver" but this is a little different!

Check out the second shot - It doesn't even know it's been hit - you can see half of it fly off like a chopper missing
it's rear rotor! (It's an insect not a fluffy critter so no blood or guts - just looks like a flying raisin):

Obviously there isn't much in the way of competitions or necessity for this kind of, er, "hunting" (or extreme swatting! ;) )
but still worth a watch.

FWIW, I like Bee's but this is a bloody good shot IMHO!

MODS:
Due to the nature of the quarry I didn't think it hardcore enough to go in the hunting section.
Please move if required and apologies for anyone offended by it!!! Certainly not my intention.
